An emphasis on safety is present at every level of the Ampcontrol Group in all places we work and for all equipment we supply. Around the world, all Ampcontrol Group sites are guided by a holistic approach to safety, supported by comprehensive safety first principles. This is reflected both in the attitudes and behaviours of our people and in our approach to the products and services that we provide to our customers.

Safety within the workplace is an aspect of every person’s job within the Ampcontrol Group. We empower each individual to be responsible for their own safety and the safety of others.

This commitment is reinforced at all locations by robust systems and policies which form the building blocks for our safety first culture. Through our safety initiatives and guidelines we set ourselves high expectations and strive to meet them.

Through our Health and Safety Policy we take a proactive approach to safety by focusing on prevention and identification of risks in all activities and events.  We employ a dedicated Safety Team of qualified individuals focused on ensuring our safety standards are met at all times through measurable objectives and targets. Our Safety Management Plan represents our commitment to strive towards achieving a leading role in safety standards in the international marketplace.

When on site, we assume responsibility for the safety of our people and are vigilant in indentifying and controlling potential safety hazards whereever our people work.

We ensure a safe working environment for our people, our customers and our contractors by providing the systems, design, documentation and training to control risk, prevent errors and minimise harm to the users and the environment wherever we operate. Through our Environment Management Program we also identify and address any ongoing or potential impact on the environment. Our focus is on reducing both the cost and the impact of our business. This not only establishes better practices for our environment, it creates added value for our customers.
